As part of getting to know each other, we have been discussing what our goals are for this year. A goal is something that we want to achieve for this year. Goals require that we commit to planning where we need to, in order to achieve them.

 

Year 3 have already talked about their goals and are going to publish the goals that they have this year to accompany the self portraits that they made to decorate our classroom.

The self portraits were created by firstly discussing the general shape of a face. We discussed the details that we see when we look in a mirror. The shape and colour of the eyes, lips and noses helped to make each picture unique. The faces were cut out and stuck onto a background. The hair was created by cutting paper into strips and gluing onto the face. It was finished off by creating clothes.
